Job Description:
- Coordinate, conduct, and complete RCRA inspections
- Coordinate, conduct, and complete RCRA sampling and monitoring activites to include all media
- Develop Sampling and Analysis Plans (SAPs) and Quality Assurance Project Plans (QAPPs)
- Evaluate remedial technologies for a site and develop Analysis of Brownfields Cleanup Alternatives (ABCAs)
- Manage multiple projects and small project teams simultaneously
- Train and mentor less experienced staff
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with multiple clients and internal stakeholders
Qualifications and Skills:
- BS or MS degree, preferably in Chemical or Environmental Engineering or Geology
- Knowledge of RCRA environmental laws and regulations Strong knowledge and application of environmental sampling techniques
- Proficiency in Excel and Word
- Strong writing and communication skills and the ability to present project findings to different stakeholders, both orally and in writing
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work on multiple projects and meet tight deadlines, while providing quality client-ready deliverables
- Evaluating RCRA compliance issues at complex facilities
- Evaluating different remedial technologies and determining their applicability for a site
- Project management
- 40-hour HAZWOPER Certified
- The ability to pass a pulmonary function or spirometry breathing test and a fit test to wear an air purifying respirator (APR)
- Be able to carry 25 pounds, climb ladders, and work on elevated platforms
