Senior Software Engineer

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Expertise with C++, Git, and Atlassian.
• Perform on an expert level with computer science topics such as data structures and algorithms.
• Preferred 5 years of experience with C++.
• Preferred knowledge of hydrographic topics (Geodesy, Surveying and Processing).
• Professional experience developing software in a team-based setting.
• Experience testing integrated hardware with stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Agile Development (CSM a plus).
• Experience presenting in a professional or conference setting.
• Extensive experience in applied DevOps deployment through C++.
• Experience in DevOps implementation from scratch.
• Experience in DevOps tools such as Jenkins or other C++ binary specific software.

Education and Experience:

• Attended an accredited University and achieved a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in computer science or Hydrographic Area.
• Experience developing software at a professional level.
• Experience working collaboratively within a team environment of engineers to meet aggressive goals and high-quality standards.
