Requirements
  • The candidate must be at least 18 years of age.
  • The candidate must have supervisory experience in a high-volume movie theatre, retail, or hospitality environment.
  • The candidate must possess strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • The candidate must be willing and motivated to learn new skills, tasks, and software systems to meet changing industry demands.
  • The candidate must have a flexible work schedule that includes late evenings, weekends, and holidays as dictated by business needs.

  • The candidate must be able to obtain any government- and hospitality-required license or certificate, including applicable state health card, local food service or handling, and state liquor service permits.
  • The candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • The candidate must be able to obtain food-handling licenses as required by local or state laws.
  • The candidate must be able to sit, talk or hear, use hands to handle objects, stand, and walk; occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds; and adjust focus for close vision.
  • The candidate must wear a face mask during scheduled working hours.
Responsibilities
  • Create a safe and welcoming environment for guests by greeting them, anticipating their needs, exceeding expectations, and implementing creative solutions to provide exceptional service.
  • Supervise, motivate, reward, coach, and counsel associates.
  • Execute systems and processes that keep the theatre running smoothly.
  • Assist with hiring, training, and associate development.
  • Evaluate key performance indicators to drive guest satisfaction and business results.
  • Identify opportunities to increase brand awareness and drive traffic into the theatre.
  • Follow the direction of theatre and corporate management teams.
  • Work independently and solve problems.
  • Learn the different theatre roles and schedule each role as business and attendance require.
  • Handle cash, pulls, server checkouts, and deposit preparation.
  • Balance drawers and daily reports, manage the safe, and follow opening and closing procedures.
  • Understand daily business objectives, including staffing levels, events, and specials.
  • Help maintain internal inventory control, including daily soft counts, validation, and corrections.
  • Use forecasted business levels and attendance to assist with associate schedules.
  • Assist with daily timesheet and payroll revisions as needed.
  • Operate projection equipment, including projectors, servers, and sound equipment.
  • Drive facility sales through membership registration, loyalty registration, upselling, and suggestive selling.
  • Understand and enforce corporate policies, rules, and procedures, as well as applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
  • Learn and follow audit processes to maintain theatre compliance.
  • Answer NPS comments and manage the theatre inbox.
  • Facilitate guest issues and create positive guest recoveries.
  • Partner with key vendors and order concession items, liquor, soda, dry goods, and janitorial supplies as needed.
  • Maintain the front of house, back of house, and kitchen line; monitor cleanliness, stock levels, safety issues, mechanical issues, and aesthetics.
  • Handle building safety concerns and accident reports in accordance with PCI compliance procedures.
  • Use computer systems, including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and the point-of-sale system, and troubleshoot facility technology issues involving Vista and Cielo.
  • Preserve the confidentiality of theatre information and passwords and adhere to PCI regulations.
  • Process daily requests from the corporate office or supervisors by phone and email.
  • Understand the new-hire paperwork and orientation process.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Director of Operations, District Director, General Manager, or Manager.

  • College coursework in Business Management and Marketing is preferred.
