Requirements
  • Proven experience in material handling, logistics, or a similar role in a construction or industrial environment.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to operate company vehicles, including pickup trucks and small utility trailers.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
  • Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends and overtime as needed.
Responsibilities
  • Receive, inspect, and organize materials, tools, and equipment delivered to the job site.
  • Transport materials, tools, and equipment between storage locations and job sites as needed using company vehicles.
  • Track and maintain inventory of job-site supplies to ensure materials are available when needed.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards by regularly clearing debris and unused materials.
  • Provide general support to site teams, including setting up workstations, moving equipment, and assisting with job-site preparations.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials to the job site.
  • Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times.
  • Maintain accurate records of material deliveries, usage, and returns to ensure proper inventory control.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in a job-site environment with familiarity in handling construction materials.
  • Forklift certification or experience operating material-handling equipment.
  • Familiarity with inventory-management systems or software.
  • Dependability, punctuality, and proactivity in identifying and addressing material needs on site.
