We're looking for a part-time Veterinary Nurse to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified nurse with clinical experience who is looking for a supportive environment, great clients, and a workplace where they can continue to grow and develop their skills.
Our clinic is home to a loyal client base and a team of 4 veterinarians and 5 nurses, proudly recognised as the Greencross General Practice Clinic Team of the Year 2025. We work hard, celebrate our successes together, and genuinely enjoy coming to work each day.
About Our Clinic
Our standalone clinic is spacious, welcoming, and designed to support both our team and our patients.
Our facilities include:
- Three veterinary consultation rooms
- A dedicated nurse consultation room
- Large treatment and preparation area
- Designated dental suite
- Dedicated surgical theatre
- Spacious outdoor off-leash area for clients and their dogs
- A large, tree-lined backyard where the team can relax and enjoy their lunch breaks

About the Role
As a Veterinary Nurse, you'll play an important role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting our veterinary team across all areas of the clinic.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting veterinarians in consults, treatments, and surgeries
- Monitoring anaesthesia and supporting surgical patients
- Administering medications and post-operative care
- Performing diagnostic testing and pathology
- Caring for hospitalised patients
- Educating pet owners on health, nutrition, and preventative care
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Supporting clients through both happy and challenging moments
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient clinical environment
- Continuing to develop and grow your nursing skills
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Holds a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent)
- Has 2+ years of clinical veterinary nursing experience
- Has strong communication and organisational skills
- Is confident working in a busy clinical environment
- Is compassionate, proactive, and team-oriented
- Has a genuine passion for animal welfare and patient care
- Enjoys building relationships with both clients and colleagues
- Brings a positive attitude and willingness to learn
