Responsibilities
  • Teach lecture courses focused on air traffic control procedures and techniques based on current standards and demands of the national airspace
  • Teach air traffic basics courses in a way that is coherent and understandable to students with little-to-no previous aviation knowledge
  • Mentor students as part of their appointment
  • Demonstrate ability to teach and develop classroom and laboratory courses across all levels of undergraduate education in basics of understanding, and advanced skillsets in the industry
  • Commit to undergraduate education in the classroom and through experiential learning opportunities
  • Support hands-on educational methods and emphasize practical skills students will need after graduation
