Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Current New Mexico Food Handler Certification and Alcohol Server Certification are required.
- Strong communication, multitasking, and customer service skills are required.
- Working knowledge of restaurant point-of-sale systems is required.
- The ability to stand for extended periods and lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25+ pounds is required.
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is required.
Responsibilities
- Maintain positive and professional interactions with guests, team members, and leadership.
- Provide attentive and timely beverage service according to luxury hospitality standards.
- Greet guests, take beverage orders, and provide knowledgeable recommendations.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Ensure order accuracy and deliver beverages to guests in bar, lounge, or dining areas.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to requests or concerns.
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and follow responsible alcohol service practices.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations, bar areas, and guest-facing spaces.
- Set up and break down bar and service areas before and after shifts.
- Collaborate with bartenders and the kitchen team to support seamless service flow.
- Process orders and payments accurately using point-of-sale systems.
- Maintain knowledge of current beverage menus, specials, and promotions.
- Follow safety, sanitation, and alcohol compliance standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and professional appearance in compliance with uniform and grooming standards.
- Protect company assets and maintain confidentiality of proprietary, client, and guest information.
- Perform other duties as assigned that are consistent with the functions of the position as needed at the property.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous hospitality or food and beverage experience is preferred.
- Luxury or upscale service experience is preferred.
- Experience with point-of-sale systems is preferred.
