Customer Service Supervisor

JOB SUMMARY

This position reports to the Director of Customer Service and plays a key role with maintaining relationships for both domestic and international customers. The position requires managing both the people and operations of the Customer Service Department.  This position interfaces with internal and external customers worldwide.  The Customer Service Supervisor plays a lead role in implementing and improving sales order fulfillment processes, and a wide range of other systems, and processes that support the sales and marketing team.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

-A technical degree, certificate or equivalent relevant experience and knowledge gained from working with the environmental instrumentation industry

-10+ years experience in a Sales related environment, particularly oriented towards electronic and electromechanical instrumentation and manufacturing.

- 2+ years management or supervisory experience, with a track record of building and motivating a cohesive team

- Excellent interpersonal skills required for customer and team interaction.

- Professional, clear verbal and written communication.

- Able to exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate actions.

- Knowledge and experience with working with Microsoft Dynamics AX; Able to implement and modify procedures as needed.

- Experience of Salesforce.com or similar CRM packages, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills

- Familiarity with logistics, international shipping, letters of credit, export compliance, responding to public and private sector bids, and working with third party sales channels (both domestic and International).
