Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a pricing approval role/revenue operations
  • Digital Publisher experience in an analytics role capacity and an understanding of digital media metrics such as CPM, CTR, Fill Rate, Unique Users, Page Views, Impressions, and visits
  • Experience in digital advertising and ad sales analytics with a background in Yield Management, Ad Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, and Programmatic Yield
  • Proven communication skills
  • Comfort with ambiguity, evolving priorities, and an ability to operate autonomously
  • Ability to multitask and balance project workload with daily RFP approval requests
  • Familiarity with Ad Servers (GAM preferable) and Contract Management systems, as well as CRMs (Salesforce, Operative, etc)
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, systems, and/or processes
  • Experience in data analysis and reporting
Responsibilities
  • Manage DYM Queue/Ticketing system to approvals for pricing and inventory inquiries in the pre- to post-sale RFP contracting cycle
  • Complete margin analyses on each pricing approval request, inclusive of measurement studies, added value, or standard discounting
  • Analyze and present monthly/quarterly open exchange pricing trends to inform any rate card adjustments
  • Monitor and manage revenue delivery, risk reporting, and communications for standard campaigns and sponsorships
  • Own weekly touchpoints with cross-functional teams and provide consultative optimization strategy and revenue-at-risk insights
  • Communicate insights, reporting, and recommendations for mitigating risk and maximizing revenue to key stakeholders
  • Partner with internal teams to identify process improvements to improve overall operational efficiency
  • Own quarterly/annual advertiser campaign margin analysis to help inform discounting strategies for strategic partners
  • Audit PMP pricing, discounting, and partner with the team to optimize floors where necessary
  • Recommend/approve ad server priority adjustments
  • Pull and track sponsorship estimates for one-day takeovers, monthly content sponsorships, etc
  • Compile/analyze quarterly delivery trends by product and platform
  • Other duties as assigned
