  • An associate's degree or equivalent experience is required.
  • A minimum of ten years of progressive operations experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to manage profit-and-loss performance are required.
  • Experience with union contract administration and labor relations is required.
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams and driving measurable results is required.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee all plant operations across production, maintenance, quality, materials, and human resources to meet company goals for safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Promote a zero-incident safety culture and ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration, food safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Develop and implement manufacturing strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Establish and manage budgets, cost controls, and continuous improvement programs to achieve performance targets.
  • Define clear goals, monitor performance, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Partner with Quality and Procurement to ensure production and purchased materials meet customer specifications.
  • Build collaboration and teamwork through open communication and effective leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and product quality systems.
  • Perform additional duties and projects assigned by Operations leadership.
