Role: Venture Capital Fundraising Manager

Position Overview:
- Squarepoint is seeking a motivated marketing professional to lead marketing for its first external Venture Capital vehicle, and subsequent vintages and declinations
- Proactively engage potential investors and present our company’s mission and strategy
- Manage the investor pipeline and the complete marketing lifecycle (initial outreach, coordinate investor meeting follow-ups)
- Maintain the client database (CRM) and ensure all the info about our investors remains secure and confidential
- Create and maintain investor presentations, marketing materials, data rooms, and other collateral
- Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to ensure compliance with internal and external rules, policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements
- Provide insights on market activity and present to the internal leadership team
- Analyze and present financial trends, competitor behavior, shareholder issues and anything else that could impact the business
Required Qualifications:
- Senior IR/Marketing experience at a VC/PE firm or as a placement agent for the VC/PE industry
- Understanding of venture capital, private equity, and systematic hedge funds with experience discussing investment strategies, complex fund structures and operational aspects of an investment management firm
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Proactive approach to working with other team members and departments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with great attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure, to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
The minimum base salary for this role is $60,000 if located in New York. This expectation is based on available information at the time of posting. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses, which could constitute a significant portion of total compensation. This role may also be eligible for benefits, such as health, dental, and other wellness plans, as well as 401(k) contributions. Successful candidates’ compensation and benefits will be determined in consideration of various factors.
