Requirements
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in grant administration or financial management.
  • Strong understanding of federal and state grant regulations, particularly those related to MHBG.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in public administration, health administration, finance, or a related field or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee the administration of the MHBG grant, ensuring compliance with all federal and state regulations.
  • Monitor grant expenditures and prepare financial reports as required.
  • Track grant performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage the grant budget, including tracking expenditures and reconciling accounts.
  • Prepare budget projections and forecasts.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial reports.
  • Stay current on federal and state regulations related to MHBG.
  • Conduct regular reviews to ensure compliance with grant requirements.
  • Develop and implement compliance procedures and policies.
  • Prepare and submit required reports to AHCCCS and other relevant agencies.
  • Analyze program data and generate reports to inform decision-making.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth program implementation.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient use of grant funds.
