Requirements
  • 2-6 years of relevant experience, ideally with leading consulting firm(s) focused on Financial Services and/or experience with banks or FinTechs
  • Undergraduate or advanced degree in STEM, finance, or economics from a top university
  • Fluent business English and Spanish or Portuguese
  • Must have the ability to work under pressure and willingness to travel to clients world-wide
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to adjust your style to suit different perspectives and seniority levels logically implied
  • Strong problem solving and quantitative thinking abilities
  • Ability to break down and solve problems through quantitative thinking and analysis
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and create an inclusive environment with people at all levels of an organization

Responsibilities
  • Shaping problems and developing specialized expertise that other will seek out
  • Leading small to mid-sized teams in the execution of workstreams or full projects, starting with an initial 6-month onboarding period
  • Planning and executing analyses as well as identifying the core issues in complex analyses to craft suitable recommendations
  • Working side by side with clients and project team members to move projects forward and manage small teams to get the work done
  • Directing junior consultants to focus on key elements of problems and analyses
  • Engaging with clients and stakeholders to develop strategies in finance and risk related engagements such as finance and risk strategy, end to end credit transformations, capital accuracy and models, smart pricing, strategic planning and financial resource management, as well as artificial intelligence and risk modelling engagements
  • Collaborating with Oliver Wyman Data and Analytics specialists to deliver integrated solutions
Desired Qualifications
  • Data and analytics skills are positively considered
  • Industry expertise in banking with previous experience working for credit risk and finance areas
  • CFA (or other relevant industry certifications) or MBA from a top-tier university
