Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in a clinical or related field preferred.
  • 8-10 years of demonstrated expertise in learning and development or clinical education.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to relay difficult concepts at all levels of the organization.
  • Thorough knowledge of and demonstrated ability to apply adult learning theories, best-in-class learning technologies, and modern instructional design methodologies.
  • Experience developing and leading clinical continuing education programs is a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead a comprehensive learning strategy focused on clinical excellence, improving clinician competencies and enhancing care for high-acuity clients.
  • Design and deliver ongoing clinical training programs, including continuing education, specialized clinical pathways, and certifications.
  • Partner with clinical leadership to assess the needs of our clinicians and create targeted learning interventions that have a measurable impact on client outcomes.
  • Implement a clinical career development framework that offers clinicians clear growth opportunities while maintaining the highest clinical standards.
  • Ensure all clinical training is aligned with Joint Commission standards, compliance requirements, and Charlie Health’s multi-state operations.
  • Oversee clinical onboarding to ensure new hires are integrated effectively into our culture and treatment model.
  • Continuously evaluate and report on the effectiveness of clinical training programs, adjusting strategies to improve clinician performance and client outcomes.
  • Act as the clinical L&D partner for key departments, providing guidance on change management and organizational development initiatives.
  • Champion Charlie Health’s mission by fostering a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and clinical innovation.
