TextNow’s Revenue Pod is looking for a pioneering productleader dedicated to optimizing upsells and in-app purchases for our mobile app, ensuring subscribers fully understand the value they unlock when they pay. We’reseeking a passionate, creative, and visionary Senior Product Manager/Leader to spearhead our subscriber experience and generate new monetization initiatives. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role for an entrepreneurial leader who thrives on autonomy, rapid innovation, and driving tangible business results. What You Will Own:
- Strategic Vision & Execution: Own and develop a clear monetization product strategy from conception to market. You’ll have significant autonomy to set direction with direct influence on company-wide priorities, outcomes, and revenue growth.
- High-Performance Team Leadership: Build and mentor a cross-functional team of top performers. Foster a high-energy, collaborative, and results-driven environment where creativity and calculated risk-taking thrive.
- Upsell & In-App Purchase Optimization: Lead an agile team in creating, testing, and optimizing innovative upsell features and in-app purchase opportunities. You’ll champion a culture of continuous experimentation, learning, and iteration to maximize conversion rates and revenue.
- Monetization Pipeline: Create a robust process for ideation, prioritization, and development of new revenue-generating features that add customer value while driving upsells and in-app purchases.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Own the outcomes, key metrics, and OKRs to measure success for monetization efforts. Develop sophisticated experimentation frameworks to rapidly validate ideas and drive continuous improvement in conversion rates and average revenue per user (ARPU).
- Voice of the Customer: Become an expert in the needs and behaviors of our users, particularly those likely to make in-app purchases. Advocate for a user-centric approach that balances monetization and rentetion goals while ensuring every subscriber touchpoint is delightful and improves overall user satisfaction.
- Executive Partnerships: Manage stakeholder expectations and collaborate directly with C-level executives to drive clarity and alignment with our company strategy. You’ll have a visible and influential seat at the table shaping TextNow’s monetization future.
Who You Are:
- Seasoned Mobile Monetization Expert: 7+ years of experience including a record of accomplishment in launching and optimizing revenue-driving mobile user experiences, particularly in-app purchases and upsell flows, at scale.
- Exceptional Communicator: Comfortable with ambiguity who can influence and align stakeholders across all levels of the organization (including Product, Design, Engineering, Data, Quality Assurance, Marketing, User Research, Legal, Finance, and business development partners).
- Accept the Challenge: A positive, high-energy leader who instills a sense of urgency and excitement in their team to drive monetization goals.
- Experimentation Evangelist: A champion of prototyping and experimentation who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You foster an environment where creativity and calculated risk-taking are encouraged to optimize conversion funnels.
- Mobile Monetization Master: Deeply knowledgeable about mobile ecosystems, user engagement andpricing strategies, and monetization best practices, particularly in freemium and in-app purchase models.
- Full-Cycle Ownership: Proven ability to lead the product development lifecycle articulating what and why to your pod and stakeholders. This includes from concept (briefs, wireframes, PRDs), through development (sprint planning/grooming, road mapping), to launch (Go-To-Market, A/B testing, rollouts), and integration into the core app.
