Requirements
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • An active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information clearance with polygraph is required.
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline is required.
  • At least 10 years of technical experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, advanced analytics, or a related discipline is required.
  • Demonstrated experience applying artificial intelligence technologies to operational, mission, research, or business challenges is required.
  • Experience with large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, agentic artificial intelligence architectures, artificial intelligence orchestration frameworks, or autonomous systems is required.
  • Familiarity with Responsible AI, artificial intelligence governance, and emerging federal artificial intelligence policies is required.
  • A strong understanding of modern artificial intelligence methodologies, architectures, and workflows is required.
  • The ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences is required.
  • Deep understanding of Python software development, including analyzing existing codebases and writing Python tools, is required.
  • Understanding of software engineering principles and system design is required.
  • Familiarity with applied machine learning domains such as natural language processing, computer vision, autonomy, and audio analysis is required.
  • The ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and domains is required.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the principal artificial intelligence technical advisor supporting AI education, workforce development, and mission-focused training initiatives.
  • Collaborate with IG Labs researchers and engineers to identify emerging artificial intelligence technologies and translate them into workforce development opportunities.
  • Define the skills, competencies, and certification standards required for an AI-ready workforce.
  • Guide the development of curricula, labs, simulations, and practical exercises focused on real-world artificial intelligence applications.
  • Provide technical leadership across generative AI, large language models, agentic AI, machine learning, deep learning, data science, AI governance and Responsible AI, MLOps and AI operations, and cybersecurity and AI.
  • Ensure training content remains aligned with current industry advancements, government AI strategies, and operational mission requirements.
  • Develop mission-relevant use cases demonstrating how artificial intelligence can solve real-world challenges.
  • Support artificial intelligence demonstrations, workshops, technical exchanges, and customer engagements.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend future workforce development and training priorities.
  • Contribute thought leadership supporting the company's artificial intelligence strategy, innovation initiatives, and workforce transformation efforts.
Desired Qualifications
  • A master's degree or PhD in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Experience supporting Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, or Federal Government organizations is preferred.
  • Experience developing technical training, certifications, workshops, or workforce development programs is preferred.
  • Experience with containerization and virtualization architectures is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, analyze, and balance architecture drivers, tradeoffs, extensibility, and long-term maintainability is preferred.
  • Published research, conference presentations, patents, or demonstrated contributions to artificial intelligence innovation initiatives are preferred.
