Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in this field
  • Expert ability as a motion designer/animator, video and audio editor with a strong sense of storytelling
  • Senior-level animation skills with experience in text treatments, character animation, infographics and working in 2.5D in After Effects
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Audition Adobe Media Encoder
  • Experience working with industry standard After Effects plug-ins
  • Familiarity with 3D composition and special effects, with 3D modeling and 3D animation skills a plus
  • Knowledge of keying, compositing, tracking and rotoscoping
  • Basic typography and graphic design skills
  • Ability to interpret style frames and storyboards to create final video content

Responsibilities
  • Create high quality video/animation in various formats from video footage, audio, and provided assets
  • Using a variety of tools, methods and effects, create the best possible result within time and budgetary restraints
  • Provide alternatives and/or options when needed, and show animation tests or animatics for proof of concept
  • Experiment with styles, techniques, and plug-ins including the design of graphic elements
  • Offer suggestions for stock sound effects and music, stock footage or imagery and graphics when needed; oversee final selection and purchase of those assets
  • Oversee all technical aspects of final production, including correcting faulty footage, grading and coloring, and adding VFX, managing easing and motion, making timing adjustments for smooth flow and pacing, and providing deliverables in all various formats and file types
  • Offer client and team members innovative advice and solutions from industry examples and experience
  • Prioritize workloads and manage time effectively - personally and for the team as needed
  • Maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate an ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Work independently and in conjunction with team members to develop and refine concepts, storyboards, campaigns, graphics and creative ideas
