Requirements
  • BS or MS in Computer Science/Electrical or Electronics engineering or a related discipline
  • Proficient in C/C++, Python
  • 8+ years of experience with X86/ARM architecture and strong programming skills, Working experience with low-level programming on bare metal, like assembly, BIOS/UEFI firmware, linux kernel, device driver, etc
  • Hands-on experience in the lab with CPU, GPU and network component validation and developing tests and debug tools
  • Knowledge of peripherals/protocols such as SATA, PCIe, USB, NVME etc
  • Bring up and diagnostics experience with high speed signals
  • Fluent with a variety of bring-up tools, like oscilloscope, JTAG debugger, I2C/SPI tools, etc
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, willingness to learn and confront technical challenges
Responsibilities
  • Work with cross functional teams to come up with the detailed bring up and validation requirements for compute and network components and drive the HW through seamless development and validation cycles
  • Gather requirements, studying high level designs and turning them into smaller building blocks to bring the hardware up and integrate the blocks into a bigger system
  • Communicate requirements and coordinate execution with multiple teams
  • Troubleshoot and root cause, document and drive issues to the closure
  • Work closely with manufacturing/Tier1/Tier2/CM teams to ensure bring up and diagnostics tools are developed properly for the NPI and Manufacturing
  • Drive cross functional teams and stakeholders to address challenges seen during integration and bring-up, ensure AV content is seamlessly brought up, validated and tested at the end of line that meets product and business requirements
  • Demonstrate full ownership of assigned systems/components. Manage timelines and determine project deadlines in order to meet program timing
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with embedded linux development, Buildroot and Yocto
  • Hardware hands-on experience, such as CPU Power validation and PCIe SI tuning
