  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems / Information Management, Computer Science, or related field. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, an associate’s degree in the aforementioned fields and 3+ years of IT portfolio management, business analysis, or project coordination experience or a high school diploma or equivalency degree and 5+ years of IT portfolio management, business analysis, or project coordination experience will be considered.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project) and ability to learn new computer software programs quickly
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels in an interactive team environment
  • Ability to multitask, pay close attention to detail, and adapt to a variety of support environments and assignments
  • Ability to understand business functionality and translate it into process flow diagrams, application requirements and application design
  • Valid driver’s license
Responsibilities
  • Facilitates the end-to-end intake process for new IT project requests.
  • Ensures completeness and quality of project intake documentation, including business cases, requirements, and impact assessments.
  • Coordinates with stakeholders to clarify project scope, objectives, and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Supports the prioritization efforts by analyzing project proposals against portfolio criteria (e.g., strategic fit, resource availability, risk).
  • Maintains dashboards and reports that provide visibility into intake pipeline, status, and trends.
  • Identifies bottlenecks or inefficiencies in the intake process and recommend improvements.
  • Acts as a liaison between business units and IT portfolio governance teams.
  • Provides guidance to project sponsors on intake procedures and required documentation.
  • Supports governance meetings by preparing intake summaries and presenting analysis.
  • Utilizes portfolio management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Clarity, Jira, or similar) to track intake submissions and status.
  • Ensures data integrity and consistency across intake records and portfolio systems.
  • Supports emergency storm restoration efforts
Desired Qualifications
  • ESRI Platform experience
  • Understanding of map services, feature services, and geoprocessing tools
  • Ability to manage vendor relationships
  • Experience with application configuration and testing
  • Exposure to integrations (APIs or middleware)
  • Programming and scripting experience
  • Experience in energy & utilities or services industry
