Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all Member-clients.
  • Call Members referred to the Wealth Management department by Branches, Member Service Center, and other RCU partners to set an appointment for a meeting.
  • Make and receive calls from clients assisting with questions and resolving problems as appropriate.
  • Ensure maximum flexibility to relieve and/or assist in a variety of functions as needed.
  • Travel to Corporate Offices and other branch locations as assigned.
  • Open accounts and execute trades for advisory, mutual funds, stocks, bonds, etc. as directed by client in compliance with the CUSO Financial Services Office of Supervisory Jurisdiction (OSJ).
  • Research and provide literature on requested investment products including stocks, bonds, and mutual funds.
  • Research and provide literature and information to clients regarding insurance products such as life insurance and annuities.
  • Establish and maintain interactive and open communication with CUSO Financial Services and product companies.
  • Provide Branch and Member Service Center team members with pertinent referral and product training.
  • Attend regular product and sales training meetings.
  • Research and solve Member problems and complaints in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Prepare regular client mailings/calls for birthdays, holidays and other events as assigned.
  • Complete all transactions within all regulatory organizations (i.e., FINRA and the SEC) and credit union procedures and regulations.
  • Research and repair all “Back to Rep” and NIGO (“not in good order”) items.
  • Complete daily, weekly, and monthly sales blotters and tracking reports.
  • Prepare and maintain complete and accurate client digital files, Member financial data, and documentation as directed by CUSO Financial Services and RCU.
  • Coordinate marketing and sales efforts to promote Redwood Credit Union.
  • Provide CUSO Financial Services and RCU with all materials distributed for signed approval from the compliance department.
  • Implement new investment and credit union related products and services with other team members of RCU.
  • Obtain additional licenses and education as assigned by management.
Desired Qualifications
  • A combination of education and experience equivalent to an associate degree with a minimum of five years of investment sales experience with a credit union, bank, or investment company.
