  • Minimum 3+ years of sales experience in a closing role
  • Strong customer-facing skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to work solo as well as being a productive team member
  • Ability to break down complex concepts into simple explanations

  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com and Salesloft are a plus
Responsibilities
  • Managing the full sales cycle including understanding customer needs, proposing solutions, negotiating sales, and closing deals
  • Researching prospective district partners and making outbound calls to generate interest in Clever’s product suite
  • Working collaboratively with the District Partnership team to create compelling outbound sales campaigns
  • Maintaining the district partner prospect database and capturing call notes
  • Follow-up with inbound conference and event leads to qualify the type of district opportunity
  • Using resources such as district websites, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to keep Salesforce account contact details up-to-date
