  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • 3+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, property management, or asset accountability operations.
  • Working knowledge of FAR Part 45, DFARS property regulations, and basic government property management principles.
  • Experience supporting or conducting physical inventories, reconciliations, and property lifecycle transactions.
  • Familiarity with FIAR (Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness) principles, internal controls, or audit support activities.
  • Proficiency with logistics, inventory, or property management systems (e.g., ELMS, GCSS-Army, PIEE GFP Module).

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, if applicable.
  • U.S. citizenship is required for the role per contract; eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance; DoD contract requirements require U.S. citizens.
Responsibilities
  • Execute and support Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) activities, ensuring all logistics and property processes meet audit standards and internal control requirements.
  • Conduct internal reviews, reconciliations, and process validations to verify accuracy of asset records, documentation completeness, and compliance with audit ready standards.
  • Prepare, maintain, and present audit documentation packages, including narratives, flowcharts, sample selections, testing support, and corrective action evidence.
  • Identify internal control weaknesses, document root causes, and develop corrective action plans (CAPs) to improve auditability and reduce risk.
  • Coordinate with finance, procurement, and property teams to resolve audit findings and ensure timely closure of deficiencies.
  • Assist with developing and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs), process maps, and work instructions aligned with FIAR and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of government property in accordance with FAR Part 45, DFARS, DoD Instruction 5000.64, and agency specific property policy.
  • Maintain accurate records of government furnished property (GFP), contractor acquired property (CAP), and end item assets within approved property management systems.
  • Oversee the receiving, tagging, assignment, storage, transfer, utilization, and disposition of government owned property.
  • Conduct physical inventories, cyclic inventories, and reconciliation activities to ensure accuracy between systems of record and physical asset presence.
  • Investigate property discrepancies, losses, damage, or destruction (LDD), and prepare required reporting and documentation.
  • Support property audits, DCMA reviews, and internal compliance inspections.
  • Monitor and document property movement, including temporary loan requests, reutilization transfers, and shipping activities.
  • Support planning, coordination, and execution of logistics activities related to acquisition, supply support, distribution, maintenance, and transportation.
  • Analyze logistics data, supply chain workflows, and property system outputs to identify discrepancies or inefficiencies in asset management processes.
  • Ensure timely and compliant processing of material receiving reports, asset transfers, and property accountability actions.
  • Interface with project teams, suppliers, warehouse operations, and government stakeholders to maintain continuous visibility of assets and materials.
  • Track and manage equipment allocation, readiness status, and availability to support mission requirements.
  • Maintain proficiency in logistics and property systems such as ELMS, GCSSArmy, iNFADS, PIEE GFP Module, or other agency specific tools.
  • Ensure property and financial data integrity through routine data quality checks, system reconciliations, and transactional reviews.
  • Develop reports, metrics, dashboards, and analytics to support management decision-making and audit reviews.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and audit readiness across logistics and property functions.
  • Support development of training materials and conduct training sessions for staff on property accountability, FIAR requirements, and system usage.
  • Assist leadership in aligning organizational policies and procedures with evolving audit standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
  • Serve as a liaison between logistics, finance, procurement, contracting, and program management teams to ensure consistent compliance with FIAR and property management requirements.
  • Provide guidance to internal and external stakeholders on proper property handling, documentation protocols, and accountability processes.
  • Prepare and deliver briefings, reports, and updates to management, audit teams, and government customers as required.
Desired Qualifications
  • Comprehensive knowledge of government property management regulations, including FAR Part 45, DFARS, DoD Instruction 5000.64, and applicable agency-specific policies.
  • Understanding of FIAR (Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness) principles, internal controls, audit standards, and evidentiary documentation requirements.
  • Knowledge of asset accountability processes, including receiving, tracking, inventory, utilization, maintenance, and disposition of Government-Furnished Property (GFP) and Contractor-Acquired Property (CAP).
  • Familiarity with logistics operations, supply chain workflows, lifecycle logistics, warehousing, and material management practices.
  • Working knowledge of property and logistics information systems (e.g., ELMS, GCSS-Army, iNFADS, Maximo, PIEE GFP Module, or other ERP asset modules).
  • Understanding of audit procedures, internal reviews, sampling methodologies, and corrective action plan (CAP) development.
  • Knowledge of data quality, reconciliation processes, and documentation standards required to support auditability and compliance.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate inventory accuracy, assess internal controls, identify discrepancies, and recommend solutions.
  • Strong documentation and technical writing skills to create audit narratives, SOPs, process flow diagrams, and compliance reports.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with logistics, finance, procurement, contracting, project teams, and government auditors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for data analysis, reporting, audit preparation, and process documentation.
  • Organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and support audit timelines.
  • Inventory and reconciliation skills, including conducting physical inventories, preparing variance reports, and validating data accuracy.

Scotiabank raised its price target on CAE Inc. to C$57 from C$49 and maintained an Outperform rating, citing growing confidence in the company's strategic transformation and margin recovery. The revision follows operational improvements and balance sheet progress through restructuring initiatives. The Montreal-based simulation and training technology company reported Q3 revenue of C$1.25 billion, up from C$1.22 billion year-over-year. CAE posts C$1.25B revenue, cuts civil outlook but lifts defense guidance to 20% growth

CAE posted what executives called a "solid" third quarter, with consolidated revenue of CAD 1.25 billion (up 2% year-on-year), adjusted segment operating income of CAD 195.8 million (up 3%), and adjusted EPS of CAD 0.34. Management launched a multi-year transformation plan including potential divestiture of non-core assets representing 8% of revenue, rationalising roughly 10% of commercial simulators over 12-24 months, and implementing GenAI-enabled shared services for finance and HR functions.

Michelin names Bénédicte de Bonnechose as CFO, AuditBoard appoints Hugo Doetsch finance chief

Michelin has appointed Bénédicte de Bonnechose as chief financial officer, effective 1 June.
