About the Role

The Finance Analyst will join a fast-paced FP&A team and help provide the data and analyses that drive financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and ad-hoc projects which inform decision-making by Weee!’s senior management team. Among other responsibilities, in this role, you will have the unique opportunity to work with various teams across the organization, such as Merchandising, Operations, Product, and Marketing.

The role is based out of Weee!’s headquarters in Fremont, California with hybrid flexibility, and is open to entry-level or intermediate level with 1-3+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Financially and analytically support some of Weee!’s most exciting and fastest-growing areas
• Assist senior management to create budgets and forecasts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
• Support month-end close activities including budget versus actuals, accruals, and reporting
• Monitor KPIs and business drivers for P&L items, highlighting trends and understanding underlying causes of variance to annual goals
• Build financial models and develop meaningful analyses to support strategic initiatives for department leaders
• Clean and manipulate potentially messy data sets to derive insights and reporting that will drive better business decisions
• Work cross-functionally on ad-hoc projects to drive process improvements and efficiencies

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, or related quantitative fields preferred
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Understanding of financial statements and core finance concepts
• Strong analytical skills with an ability to dive deep, summarize, visualize, and communicate important data and insights
• Ability to work independently and balance attention to detail with fast execution
• Highest standards of accuracy and precision; extremely organized
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills
• Fluency in English
• Knowledge of SQL/Python a plus

Compensation Range

• The US base salary range for this full-time position is $65,000-$80,000
• Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location
• This role may be eligible to discretionary bonus, incentives and benefits
