Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the CFO and leadership team to develop and execute the company’s financial strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
  • Partner with divisional/functional leadership teams to promote cross-departmental collaboration to support commercial initiatives and pricing strategies.
  • Lead financial analysis for commercial negotiations and customer contracts.
  • Work with the FC to ensure the finance function is collaborative and supportive in delivery of all functional responsibilities.
  • Drive the annual budgeting and forecasting process, providing guidance on financial targets and KPIs to measure success.
  • Analyse financial performance, variances and trends to provide insights the support decision making processes.
  • Prepare and present financial reports and performance summaries to senior management and stakeholders
  • Develop financial models and scenarios to aid strategic decision-making and assess the financial implications of various business strategies.
  • Investigate and evaluate potential inorganic and organic growth opportunities from a financial perspective.
  • Support CFO with M&A activities.
  • Managing the production of the investment model, creating and management of VDR and engagement with investors.

The funding round was led by East X Ventures and Lingotto Investment Management, with participation from new investors including British Patient Capital. This investment makes Tokamak Energy Europe's most well-funded private fusion energy venture. The funds will also support the development of superconducting magnets using REBCO tape.
