MTM Transit promotes Jack Hempstead to Vice President of Business Development. MTM Transit, a leading provider of paratransit, fixed route, shuttle, and mobility management solutions, today announced the appointment of Jack Hempstead as Vice President of Business Development. In this key leadership role, Jack will spearhead efforts to grow the company's revenue through the acquisition of new clients, develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans, identify new business opportunities by analyzing markets and competitors, actively prospect for targeted clients nationwide, and lead the sales process from inception to close. He will also oversee regional sales representatives, nurture relationships with key vendors to support innovation initiatives, and refine sales strategies based on industry trends and customer needs to drive profitable growth. Jack brings extensive expertise in transit operations and client relationship management, with a proven track record of improving efficiency, ensuring compliance, and achieving financial and service goals. He has been an integral part of the MTM Transit team since 2017, serving as Regional Vice President overseeing operations and clients across the Central United States. In that capacity, he collaborated closely with clients and local teams to enhance service efficiency, maintain contractual compliance, support growth, and provide hands-on, personalized support to resolve issues promptly and professionally. Prior to joining MTM Transit nearly a decade ago, Jack held senior leadership roles at major transit vendors, including First Transit and MV Transportation. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Loyola University Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Regis University.
