Requirements
  • Strong customer-facing communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, including executives, business stakeholders, and technical practitioners.
  • Proven experience in a solutions consulting or pre-sales engineering role, with a focus on supporting global alliances or partnerships.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise data architecture, privacy, and security technologies, and the ability to consult on best practices for solution architecture and design.
  • Familiarity with a range of data management technologies, including RDBMS systems, no-SQL data stores (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB), and cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Experience with Linux or container frameworks (such as Docker and Kubernetes) is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of cyber security and/or metadata integration patterns and concepts to assist our technical architects in developing and supporting relevant partner integrations, applications, and utilities.
  • Ability to plan and execute joint partner offerings and/or Proof of Concepts with minimal assistance, ensuring a smooth transition to the post-sale and/or product teams.
  • A minimum of 5 years in a pre-sales engineering, consulting, or solutions consulting role, preferably within a multinational environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline. A Master’s degree is a plus.
Responsibilities
  • Act as the go-to technical authority on BigID’s platform, delivering comprehensive support to alliance and channel teams, as well as partners. Engage in partner and sales activities through impactful presentations, tailored demonstrations, and strategic solutions discussions to drive alignment and success.
  • Collaborate with partners to develop unique solutions that integrate BigID’s cybersecurity offerings with partner technologies, enhancing our joint go-to-market (GTM) strategies.
  • Lead enablement sessions for partners, ensuring they are well-equipped to sell and position BigID’s offerings effectively.
  • Communicate regularly with partners to inform them about product updates, new features, and best practices.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of demo environments, lab systems, and other assets that support our GTM efforts with partners.
  • Provide assistance, basic troubleshooting, and guidance for partners that are deploying BigID solutions to their customers. Work collaboratively with our services, customer success, and support teams as needed helping to ensure our customers have a good experience with our partners.
  • Occasionally support customer GTM initiatives in collaboration with partners, and work directly with customers on partner-led offerings.
  • Actively learn from partners, who are often experts in their fields, and bring valuable insights back to BigID to inform product development and strategy.
