About our teams:

Tempus is searching for talented, self motivated software developers who are interested in being part of the development of the next generation of workflow driven visualization and quantification systems, primarily focused on medical imaging. The ideal candidate will understand the development process while being motivated and dedicated to building high quality software used by physicians to diagnose and treat patients in the real world.

You will be responsible for providing broad-based support and input into the design, development, testing, bug fixing, documentation and maintenance of a medical imaging platform. Our collaborative environment includes opportunities to learn and grow professionally.

What you will do:

Work with the engineering team to understand software requirements, deliverables, and timelines
Participate in various aspects of software development lifecycle including requirements, design, implementation, testing, and support
Unit and system test new services, releases, and software upgrades
Work on advanced, complex technical projects requiring state of the art technical solutions

Qualifications Required for Position:

Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Experience in a commercial software development environment
Experience programming and the desire to learn new technologies and platforms. Our environment includes Javascript / HTML / CSS / Typescript / vue.js / C++ / AWS / Git
Familiarity with Agile software development and methodology
Motivated, proactive and willing to learn within a very collaborative and fast-paced environment

The expected salary range below is applicable if the role is performed from [New York] and may vary for other locations. Actual salary may vary based on qualifications and experience. Tempus offers a full range of benefits, which may include incentive compensation, restricted stock units, medical and other benefits, depending on the position.

New York Pay Range

$100,000—$145,000 USD
