Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 15 years of software development experience with significant expertise in front-end and back-end engineering.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring, and Spring Boot for back-end development.
  • Solid experience with Angular, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and JSON.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle or relational database management systems, SQL, and familiarity with NoSQL or unstructured databases.
  • Deep understanding of Java Virtual Machine internals, memory management, performance testing, and tuning.
  • Strong knowledge of RESTful web services and application programming interface design.
  • Experience designing and implementing scalable microservices-based architectures and event-driven messaging systems.
  • Strong experience with the software development lifecycle and DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines, Git, and related engineering tools.
  • Ability to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex production support issues.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional engineering efforts in a complex enterprise environment.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the architecture, design, development, and maintenance of secure, high-quality full-stack applications for enterprise-scale web platforms.
  • Drive software artifact development using Agile methodologies and ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
  • Design, implement, and support scalable, high-volume, low-latency Java and cloud-based applications.
  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to gather requirements, define solution approaches, and align delivery with strategic objectives.
  • Oversee and actively contribute to code reviews, engineering standards, and best practices to ensure maintainable and reliable software.
  • Integrate software components into fully functional systems and support deployment across environments.
  • Apply security, privacy, and resilient design principles throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Provide technical leadership in troubleshooting and resolving production issues to ensure system stability and business continuity.
  • Promote modern engineering practices across the software development lifecycle, DevOps, continuous integration and continuous delivery, test automation, and release management.
  • Contribute to microservices-based and event-driven architectures to enable flexibility and scalability across platforms.
