Requirements
  • Detailed knowledge of data protection and privacy legislation, including the EU GDPR, the DPA 2018 and the UK PECR.
  • Knowledge of the existing and evolving US, Canadian and Australian legislation, plus data protection authority guidance and regulatory focus by territory.
  • Adept at balancing consumer and commercial needs with legal requirements, plus providing practical risk-based advice.
  • You'll have working knowledge of adtech and martech.
  • You'll have the ability to break down technical issues and explain them.
  • Experienced at developing relationships across a complex organisation.
  • Hold an IAPP CIPP/E, CIPP/US or CIPM data protection qualification (or equivalent).
Responsibilities
  • Reporting to the Data Protection Officer, as our Data Protection and Privacy Manager, you’ll navigate the complexities of global privacy laws like the GDPR and CCPA, encouraging a culture of privacy, ensuring our content and services reach millions worldwide securely and responsibly.
