Requirements
- Able to work from home or at the office with minimal supervision to accomplish tasks

- Has strong critical thinking skills and can manage tasks to completion independently with little supervision or direction
- Demonstrates problem-solving abilities, coupled with a desire to take on responsibility
- Excellent planning and organizational skills - the ability to manage many projects at varying stages of progress
- Excellent communication skills - the ability to communicate operation processes
- Listening skills - the ability to listen and comprehend requests and how to navigate it to the next process step
- Ability to work with wide range of people, in several locations and communication interfaces
- Ability to be flexible with roles/responsibilities due to changing business needs
- Ability to achieve short learning curve and onboard quickly
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in an Engineering field
- Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certificate preferred
- 2 years' experience in an engeering or technology role
- Customer facing experience
- 2-5 years' experience in project coordination
- Proven track record on working from home (if remote option is chosen)
- Regularly required to sit or stand, reach, bend and move about the facility
Responsibilities
- Work with Xylem DIS utility clients and project teams to develop project goals, schedule and prepare project deliverables, including engineering reports, software deployments/upgrades, and hardware deployments
- Assist with being a liaison to drive key project milestones and deliverables and technology support efforts
- Assist effort with ensuring project tracking and timely status updates are accurately being logged in Salesforce, Smartsheet, Atlassian, and other internal tools
- Provide project administration across North America DIS projects in Smartsheet, including project provisioning, tracking, and closeout
- Independently identify project challenges and risks
- Ability to escalate issues and decisions to supervisors in accordance with project management processes
- Understand and implement project accounting and billing processes
- Help maintain data quality for dashboards, metric reporting, and forecasting
- Send project status updates to our clients, 3rd party partners, or Xylem personal
- Ability to coordinate and conduct internal and external meetings with clients, 3rd party partners, or Xylem personal
- Assist with creating statement of work contracts and track statuses
- Review and interpret contract terms with supervision
- Help generate and execute ideas for improving internal processes with a positive and constructive attitude
- Update and create process documentation and flow diagrams to reflect current processes
- Lead and support process improvement projects
- Works with colleagues in project management and engineering to plan project resources and resolve resource constraints with a win-win approach
- Execute project tasks as assigned by project managers
- Assist as needed on other DIS projects
