Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Litigation Practice Assistant or in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with docketing systems and e-filing procedures at state and federal levels.

Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to attorneys and the litigation team, including scheduling, correspondence, and file management.
  • Manage the docketing process and maintain accurate case calendars, deadlines, and filings.
  • Prepare and process court filings, including electronic filings (e-filing) at both state and federal levels.
  • Assist with drafting and proofreading legal documents, correspondence, and forms.
  • Conduct basic legal research and gather relevant case information as needed.
  • Coordinate with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel as required.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with legal procedures and firm policies.
Desired Qualifications
  • Docketing experience preferred.
  • E-Filing experience at both state and federal levels (highly preferred).
  • New Jersey Notary certification (a plus).
