Requirements
- 5+ years of experience, with at least 2 relevant projects with digital signal processing development
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline, Master's degree preferred
- Experience with RF and/or EO/IR systems
- Experience with MATLAB and/or Python
- Strong foundations in mathematics, linear algebra, and physics
- Familiarity working with hardware, reviewing schematics and data sheets
- US Citizenship and/or Permanent Residency (Future security clearance may be required)
Responsibilities
- Define, design, and implement signal processing algorithms such as signal synthesis, modulation/demodulation, digital pre-distortion, electronic beamforming, etc
- Define, design, and implement higher-level algorithms such as target tracking, feature extraction, adaptive control / decision-making
- Work closely with RF and other hardware engineers to understand hardware capabilities and control requirements
- Work with Firmware and Software engineers for algorithm insertion onto target hardware
- Model current or future systems to determine performance or requirements in MATLAB and/or Python
- Work within an agile scrum team
- Work to create minimum viable products from concepts and ideas
Desired Qualifications
- Leadership experience within a program or project
- Experience synthesizing and demodulating high-throughput radar/EW/communications waveforms
- Experience with VHDL and Verilog
- Experience with C++
