  • 10+ years of work experience in IT engineering.
  • 5+ years of Salesforce development experience with extensive knowledge of Sales Cloud, CPQ, Apex, VisualForce, LWC, and Force.com tools and applications.
  • Experience in Salesforce CPQ Product Setup And Configuration.
  • Self-starter, self-motivated, prioritize effectively, and perform multiple tasks under minimal supervision.
  • Experience in Agile development methodology.
  • Excellent communication skills and proven success in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experience designing test plans, performing unit testing, and writing test classes to ensure proper code coverage.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
Responsibilities
  • Design and develop secure, scalable technical solutions on the Salesforce and CPQ platforms.
  • Communicate technical solutions and design tradeoffs to Business Applications team members and business stakeholders.
  • Analyze business processes and system implementation to identify inefficiencies and critical metrics.
  • Accountable for leading the development and validation of core engine components and systems in support of New Source Introduction (NSI), Continuous Product Improvement (CPI) and New Product Introduction (NPI) projects.
  • Evaluate existing code, develop plans to reduce technical debt over time, and establish a technology roadmap with system architects. Maintain and optimize full lifecycle software development using standard configuration, Apex, VisualForce, LWC, APIs, CPQ, and Force.com applications.
  • Establish best practices and standards for well-designed, testable, efficient code with high quality.
  • Mentor, develop, and train Junior developers.
  • Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices.
