Requirements
  • Must have previous maintenance experience in two of the following areas: Electrical troubleshooting and maintenance, Welding, Plumbing, Conveyor/Auger maintenance, Pneumatic controls and air tools, Hydraulics.
  • Must be available to work ALL shifts, including weekends, holidays and available for overtime.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with all team members and management to resolve mechanical failures.
  • Must be willing and able to climb ladders and work from elevated platforms.
  • Must be willing and able to stand/walk 12-hour shifts on hard floors.
  • Must be willing and able to work in all environments of our processing facility such as Harvest, Cut Converting, Rendering and Load-out freezer areas with temperatures ranging from -30 to +90 degrees.
Responsibilities
  • Keep machinery running to maintain continuous production.
  • Repair and maintain the operating conditions of the machinery and Industrial equipment used in the pork processing industry.
  • Troubleshoot problems that occur in the day-to-day operation of the facility.
  • Set up, adjust and break down production line machinery.
  • Complete daily documentation that is required.
