Doctorate Intern @ HRL Laboratories

Based in Southern California with locations in Malibu, Calabasas and Camarillo; HRL has been on the leading edge of technology, conducting pioneering research and advancing the state of the art.

Primary job function is the study and development of machine learning models for analysis of complex systems involving interactions between humans and autonomous agents. The ideal candidate will have background in control theory, dynamical systems, or autonomous systems. Experience in machine learning and familiarity with common machine learning frameworks is expected.

Additional job functions include developing and training machine learning models, collection and analysis of data, writing papers and reports, and preparing briefs for customers.

Required Skills:

Experience with machine learning. Experience with dynamical systems and control theory.

Software development experience in Python. General experience working with computer systems and software development.

Experience using PyTorch, Jax, or TensorFlow. Experience writing research papers.

Required Education:

Bachelor’s degree in in Computer Science, EE or related fields.

Compensation

The pay range for this position $50 - $55 per hour.
