Responsibilities
  • Increase the market penetration of TAVI and the Evolut platform through the DGH / referral network (hub and spoke model) and addressing the unmet need of Aortic Stenosis for where TAVI is indicated.
  • Drive referrals into identified Medtronic implanting centres by mapping out and understanding the referral network; DGH through to tertiary centres.
  • Patient Pathway Optimisation: Understand the Aortic Stenosis patient journey and uncover the rate limiting steps / barriers, to develop market development and expansion strategies for TAVI.
  • Identify and build good working relationships with non-traditional customers e.g. General Cardiologists, Care of the Elderly etc in secondary care, with the objective to improve the access to TAVI and increase referrals of appropriate patients.
  • Accelerate local awareness of Aortic Stenosis and support programs to driving high-quality and consistent referrals through Heart Team for TAVI.
  • Implement and support multidisciplinary hospital meetings at secondary and tertiary level in conjunction with local territory team & leadership to assess & plan pathways to improve referral efficiency.
  • Use health economic value data and arguments to demonstrate unmet needs and create actions plans, by target account to increase TAVI access through referral network.
