Requirements
  • Associate degree and one to three years of relevant work experience, or a combination of education and relevant experience
  • Experience troubleshooting and diagnosing PC and Apple hardware and software problems
  • Strong knowledge of current Microsoft operating systems
  • Strong knowledge of recent and current Apple operating systems
  • Experience with current Microsoft products including Office Suite
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience with modern desktop management in an enterprise setting
  • Effectively collaborate and communicate in a team-oriented environment
  • Experience with ticketing systems (ex.: TDX)
Responsibilities
  • supporting and maintaining computer systems and peripherals, including imaging, installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading both software and hardware while ensuring optimal performance and adherence to established standards
  • possess knowledge of both PC and Apple products and troubleshoot problems in a timely and accurate fashion
  • perform analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of desktop issues for end-users, and recommend and implement corrective solutions as needed either face-to-face, over the phone, by email, Zoom, real-time text-based chat, or by using institutional remote assistance tools
  • collaborate with other Cutler IT and University IT staff as needed to address issues related to technology
