ProSidian Seeks a SharePoint Developer  - Business Transformation (BT) Initiatives in CONUS - Silver Spring, MD (Plus Work Remotely) to support an engagement for an agency of the US Federal Govt. that regulates clinical investigations of products under its jurisdiction, such as drugs, biological products, and medical devices.

The ProSidian Engagement Team Members work to Business Transformation (BT) Support Services for initiatives aimed to align People, Process and Technology of the agency's financial community to be more closely linked with the strategy and vision for protecting the public health of the nation. Key objectives are to integrate and maintain financial management activities, business processes, and customer service using project management, administration, and change management techniques.

SharePoint Developer  - Business Transformation (BT) Initiatives Candidates shall work to support requirements for Program Support and SharePoint Developer  Initiatives.  This position The SharePoint Developer is responsible for developing custom solutions using SharePoint, JavaScript, Breeze, .Net, C# and other supporting tools.  The SharePoint Software Developer applies current graphics design and . NET technologies to develop, modify, maintain SharePoint server portals. Design, develop, and manage site content and capabilities and provide daily onsite maintenance of the existing MOSS portals. 

This position also works as a SharePoint Designer and Brander responsible for creating and installing the look and feel into SharePoint sites and for guiding the customer in SharePoint and Industry best practices. Ideal skillsets include but are not limited to work as a SharePoint Discovery / Solution Architect responsible for architecting the site structure as well as permissions, governance, wireframes, sitemaps, user experience narratives and other supporting documentation.  Key project workstreams align with BPA Statement Of Work Workstreams: 4.7 - SharePoint Developer. 

The SharePoint Software Developer also applies current graphics design and .NET technologies to develop, modify, maintain SharePoint server portals. Design, develop, and manage site content and capabilities and provide daily onsite maintenance of the existing MOSS portals. Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing, and certification of software.

Familiar with US Digital standard concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Work with project stakeholders on a daily basis. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.  The following is a summary of the essential functions of this job. Specific activities may change from time to time.  As a SharePoint Developer, you will be able to perform the following duties:

• Develops software solutions by studying requirements analysis and information needs; conferring with stakeholders and IT Management; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; performs software design using software development fundamentals and processes, debug, test, and deploy software solutions.
• Design, develop and maintain key components of the software suite using classic ASP, Microsoft .Net, and SharePoint Server 2007 and new 2013.
• Implementation of SharePoint-based workflows as well as the development of Business Intelligence dashboards.
• Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code.
• Build proof of concept examples or graphical simulation software. Then maintain product test software and demos for training purposes.
• Protects operations by keeping information confidential.
• Actively participate in product design reviews by providing creative and practical ideas and solutions in a teamwork environment. A wide degree of creativity and latitude required.

Qualifications

The SharePoint Developer  - Business Transformation (BT) Initiatives shall have consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five (5) years, Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email; and proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and related tools and technology required for the position. 

Work products shall be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and comply with established criteria. The candidate shall ensure that duties are performed in a competent and professional manner that meets milestones/delivery schedules as outlined.

The SharePoint Developer  shall be classified under the Labor Categories and Experience of a Federal SharePoint Developer  with professional qualifications that include Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or Master’s in Computer Science, Information Systems; or related discipline is desired and ability will provide a combination of the following:
• Ability to write Stored Procedures, write complex SQL queries, and the ability to analyze the SQLdata is desired.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high quality/error-free deliverables.
• Authorized to work in the US. Fluency in other foreign languages(s) is a plus.
• Be able to perform basic physical tasks such as lifting 50lbs, reading, the nimbleness of hands for typing and writing.
• Demonstrated ability in supporting all aspects of the SharePoint/Office 365 environments, including customizations, development, availability, reliability, performance, monitoring, and security and associated third party web applications
• Emphasizes personal and professional growth by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
• Experience as a SharePoint Developer in the analysis, design, hands-on development and delivery of web-based applications.
• Experience in the development of SharePoint strategies, apps using SharePoint object models, including JavaScript/Client-Side models and REST API involving a variety of data formats (XML, JSON, CSV, etc.)
• Experience programming in .NET 3.5, C#, ASP.NET ,T-SQL, C/C++, XLM.
• Experience using jQuery, Client Object Model, and Service-Oriented Architecture.
• Experience with SDLC methodologies and processes used in designing, developing, testing, implementing, and optimizing web applications the following languages and libraries: HTML5, JavaScript, C#, JQuery, CSS3, XML, J2EE, ASP.NET MVC, Bootstrap, React JS, WebLogic and/or Angular JS for development.
• Experience with SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, Web Parts, and workflow creation.
• Experience with SharePoint’s application services framework including implementation, configuration, and usages of Search, Managed Metadata, and User Profile Services.
• Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services, SQL Server Analysis Services, and/or SQL Server Integration Services a plus.
• Experience working with RDBMS and SQL (Sybase, Microsoft, Oracle, etc.) Farm Design, Configuration, Deployments, Migrations, and UpgradesExperience with the plan, design, and implementation of custom solutions using Microsoft SharePoint 2016, InfoPath/Nintex Forms/Workflows, CorasWorks, Custom web parts, and SSRS.
• Extensive experience working with Microsoft SharePoint including architecting and implementing complex designs (cross-platform integration, HA configurations, platform/DB migration, Content re-design, IIS, SQL Server DB connections).
• Microsoft MCPD 70-576, SharePoint 2010/2013 Designing and Developing Applications certification is a plus but not required.

This work will be performed primarily in CONUS - Silver Spring, MD (Plus Work Remotely)

TRAVEL:  Travel as coordinated with the technical point of contact and approved in writing by the Contracting Officer in advance, is allowed, in accordance with Federal Travel Regulations. 

LOCATION:  Work shall be conducted at the CONUS - Silver Spring, MD (Plus Work Remotely)
