Responsibilities

Lead engineering efforts, including planning projects, developing estimates, assigning work, and tracking status
Drive the development process for the team, including designing, coding, documenting, testing, debugging, and tuning
Collaborate and communicate across multiple development teams
Work cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and QA to maintain and surpass product usability and quality standards
Provide project management direction and motivation to the team
Thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment

As a Software Developer Lead on our Integrations team, you will lead the engineering efforts to design and develop the tools and systems needed to simplify the setup of IXL for schools and districts. These integrations will help IXL work seamlessly with the technology ecosystems of all of our customers. This is an amazing opportunity for you to join a mission-driven high-growth company and help us build a new engineering team from scratch in Toronto. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Lead engineering efforts, which includes planning projects, developing estimates, assigning work, and tracking status
