You will be responsible for developing compliant commercial and technical proposal, working alongside our sales organization and with support from a cross-functional team. Acting as a champion to ensure the best chance of success and with a goal to exceed our customers’ expectations.

As a Proposals Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Developing proposals in-line with requested scope of work from customers.
• Preparing cost estimates, from technical specifications, for parts, field inspections and repairs related to generators and motors.  
• Examining estimates of material, equipment, and production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure completeness and accuracy of service or repair proposal.
• Evaluating all resources required to perform the specified tasks to perform a service or repair; propose alternative solutions, when necessary.
• Undertaking commercial risk assessments to minimize exposure to liabilities.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Have a technical Bachelor degree from an accredited school.
• 1-3 years proven customer contract experience working within the Power Generation, Oil/Gas, manufacturing sectors or similar industries.
• Possess an eye for detail coupled to good organizational skills.
• Have good interpersonal skills, inclusive working style and able to effectively interface with all levels of internal organization and external customers
