  • Master's degree from Ivy league school in data science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Experience with data management, data governance, and data visualization techniques.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement data analytics strategies that align with the organization’s strategic goals and business objectives.
  • Partner with senior leadership and key stakeholders to identify critical business questions and opportunities where data analytics can provide actionable insights.
  • Advise on and support strategic initiatives with data-driven recommendations, including market analysis, competitive intelligence, and business forecasting.
  • Oversee the daily management of data analytics processes, ensuring accurate and efficient data collection, processing, and analytics.
  • Manage the implementation and optimization of analytics tools and platforms (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI) to enhance data accessibility and usability.
  • Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of data through robust data governance practices and quality control measures.
  • Create and present regular and ad-hoc reports, dashboards, and visualizations that communicate key findings and trends to stakeholders at various levels.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics to assess and improve operational performance and business outcomes.
  • Manage data analytics projects from conception through implementation, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timely delivery.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure analytics projects meet operational needs and are integrated into business processes.
  • Oversee the allocation of resources, including team members and tools, to effectively support analytics initiatives.
  • Lead and mentor a team of data analysts and data scientists, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Provide training and professional development opportunities to enhance the team's analytical capabilities and knowledge.
  • Set performance goals, conduct evaluations, and provide feedback to team members to ensure high-quality output and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure the security and confidentiality of data in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with data protection regulations and standards to safeguard sensitive information.
  • Conduct regular audits to assess data practices and address any issues related to data security and compliance.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in data analytics and business intelligence to recommend and implement improvements.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and automation to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of data analytics operations.
  • Continuously seek and integrate feedback from stakeholders to refine analytics strategies and deliver greater value.
