- RN licensure is required.
- Current Washington State Registered Nurse licensure is required.
- Current CPR certification is required.
- Work under the direction of a physician, Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant-Certified in an outpatient practice.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for clinic patients.
- Coordinate care for patients.
- Assess data reflecting the patient’s status.
- Interpret information needed to identify each patient's age-specific requirements.
- Advocate for patient-centered care.
- Provide care in accordance with department policies and procedures.
- Participate in patient and family teaching.
- Maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the outpatient clinical setting.
- Support and promote a positive image of professional nursing.
- BSN or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of one year of experience in an ambulatory medical clinic preferred.
- Experience with the specific patient population served by the clinic is preferred, such as oncology experience for an oncology clinic, urology experience for a urology clinic, or obstetrics and gynecology experience for a women’s clinic.
