- Less than 2 years relevant work experience with either a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, CIS/MIS, Cybersecurity, Business or a related field, graduating December 2023 - August 2024
- Supervising real-time Visa services and systems to resolve incidents that occur. You'll partner with multi-functional co-located teams in design and development to improve environment monitoring and resiliency capabilities
- Programming a feature or feature set that will enhance our availability and security; writing sophisticated and detailed requirements for future implementations and automation requirements in the environment
- You will work closely with team to investigate and communicate the root cause of any severe incidents and identify corrective actions
- Support critical applications and process improvements support process improvements to ensure the stability of the applications while working with other business departments to align activities and work
- Develop solid understanding of production support processes such as incident/change/problem management, call triaging, critical issue procedures while meeting strict OLA and SLA commitments
- Be a technical authority to drive issue bridges, provide fixes, and follow the production standard processes
- Lead and conduct impact assessment and mitigation plan for changes going into the production environment and ensure the success rate of planned changes
- Proficiency in at least one programming language or technology including, but not limited to, Python, Java, JavaScript, HTML, C++ , UI development, network protocols, algorithms, web services and SQL skills
- Experience with CI/CD tooling and MS Office suite of tools
- Familiarity with software testing principles
- Solid understanding of software engineering concepts and methodologies
- Document process, designs, test results, and analysis
- Lead root cause analysis and track defect resolution to completion
- Review and provide feedback on development code, test designs and test cases
- Communicate status frequently to project stakeholders
- Availability to support weekend on-call on a rotational schedule
- Strong communications skills, specifically, the absence of repeated grammatical or typographical errors, clear and concise written and spoken communications, and communications that demonstrate professional judgment
