Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in account management, technical account management, or customer success within a software-as-a-service environment.
  • Proven experience owning renewals, expansion, and retention across a multi-account portfolio.
  • Daily proficiency with Claude, Gemini, or similar artificial intelligence tools.
  • Experience with revenue management and business intelligence, including data models, OTB versus Actuals, adoption metrics, and usage metrics.
  • Understanding of hospitality technology, including property management systems, online travel agencies, channel managers, or revenue management workflows.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences and apply commercial judgment to adoption and retention.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including independently leading customer-facing sessions.
  • Strong prioritization and time-management skills for allocating attention across a large portfolio.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Gainsight, or similar customer relationship management and customer success tools.
  • Understanding of the revenue manager's daily workflow at the property level.
  • Ability to work at scale and use adoption signals in renewal and expansion strategy.
Responsibilities
  • Own a portfolio of approximately 80 mid-market Tier 2 accounts valued at $20,000-$150,000 in annual recurring revenue.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and build durable, multi-threaded stakeholder relationships.
  • Own renewals, retention, and expansion across the account base.
  • Build and execute account plans incorporating product and artificial intelligence adoption roadmaps, prioritized by revenue at risk and expansion potential.
  • Conduct two business reviews annually per account using usage, adoption, and return-on-investment data from Lighthouse products, including Ernest, Salesforce, Looker, Gainsight, and other relevant tools.
  • Build relationships with day-to-day users, commercial leaders, and economic buyers so that no account depends on a single relationship.
  • Own the renewal process end to end, including interpreting usage metrics, adoption signals, and return-on-investment indicators and ensuring timely contract execution and retention.
  • Identify and drive upsell, cross-sell, and multi-property expansion opportunities using product engagement signals.
  • Drive artificial intelligence product adoption through per-account adoption roadmaps, milestone monitoring, and proactive outreach when adoption stalls.
  • Deliver best-practice and education sessions on platform utilization and artificial intelligence workflow adoption, including webinars and group training.
  • Run periodic adoption health reviews to identify at-risk accounts before churn risk escalates.
  • Develop fluency across Ernest, Connect AI, Pricing, Performance, Direct Plans, and additional Lighthouse solutions to advise customers, troubleshoot common failure points, and translate data into strategic conversations.
  • Guide customers through the data model, market code mapping, and OTB versus Actuals, and diagnose apparent data inaccuracies.
  • Discuss integrations, including property management system connections, data feeds, and application programming interface configuration, and triage related issues.
  • Partner with Product, Support, Implementation, Sales, Customer Care, and Engineering to deliver customer success and resolve complex product or data escalations.
  • Maintain current account-health information in Gainsight and Salesforce and review support history in Intercom and Jira before customer interactions.
  • Track, report, and forecast account health, adoption, retention, and growth potential.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer internally and advocate for client needs.
  • Build repeatable plays, templates, and outreach motions for scaled account management.
  • Deliver against measures including net revenue retention, gross revenue retention, expansion revenue, renewal rate and timeliness, business review completion, Customer Health Score, net promoter score, product adoption, milestone completion, and portfolio coverage.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in a commercial overlay or technical advisory role.
  • Familiarity with Lighthouse or comparable hospitality intelligence platforms.
  • Working knowledge of application programming interface and integration concepts sufficient to answer integration-related questions.
  • Experience building scaled or one-to-many customer programs.

Lighthouse, a commercial operating platform for travel and hospitality, has launched Ernest, an AI assistant designed to bridge general AI models with hotel-specific operations. The system delivers intelligence, recommends actions and automates tasks across existing hospitality platforms. Ernest functions as a conversational interface that analyses data from property management systems, central reservation systems and booking channels. It provides competitive analysis, demand signals and management presentations whilst offering strategic recommendations based on hospitality context. With user approval, Ernest can automate tasks across more than 500 platform integrations. The AI assistant is currently available in beta for select customers, with broader global availability planned throughout 2026. Lighthouse positions Ernest as addressing fragmented systems and repetitive work facing revenue, marketing and distribution teams.

Lighthouse acquires Hotelrank.ai to help hotels track AI platform rankings and boost direct bookings

Lighthouse has acquired Hotelrank.ai, adding real-time analytics to its Connect AI solution. The integration enables hotels to monitor their rankings, perception and booking performance across AI travel platforms including ChatGPT, Gemini and Anthropic. Hotelrank.ai tracks how properties appear in AI-generated responses, monitoring citations, rankings and competitive positioning. Hotels can now measure their AI visibility scores, analyse direct versus OTA link distribution, and benchmark against competitors. The combined platform allows hotels to optimise for AI-powered discovery and direct bookings. CCI approves Citrus Investment's 0.4% stake increase in Hitachi Construction Machinery and HCJI takeover

The Competition Commission of India has approved a transaction involving Citrus Investment LLC and Hitachi Construction Machinery Co Ltd. Under the deal, Citrus will acquire an additional 0.4% stake in Hitachi Construction Machinery through stock market purchases and take sole control of HCJI Holdings KK, a joint venture previously jointly owned. Citrus is an investment firm that holds shares without operating businesses. Hitachi Construction Machinery is a listed manufacturer of construction equipment, whilst HCJI functions solely as a holding entity. The regulator said a detailed order will follow.
