The candidate must have experience driving a 53-foot trailer.
The candidate must be proficient in reading and speaking English.
The candidate must have two years of truck-driving experience; delivery experience is preferred.
The candidate must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as assigned.
The candidate must be physically able to perform the essential functions of the job and work directly with birds.
The candidate must comply with strict animal-welfare standards and report incidents of abuse, neglect, or biosecurity breaches.
The candidate must not own or maintain routine contact with swine, birds, or cattle.
The candidate must be able to stand and/or walk for extended periods and stoop, bend, climb, push, and lift up to 55 pounds and occasionally 100 pounds.
The candidate must follow company safety rules, report safety concerns to a supervisor, and use proper personal protective equipment.
Responsibilities
Deliver poultry to and from farm locations professionally.
Maintain high-quality care for the birds.
Ensure each load is properly secured and loaded.
Keep the truck clean and in good operating condition.
Perform daily Department of Transportation inspections of equipment.
Comply with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration rules and regulations for Department of Transportation hours of service and compliance.
Comply with company and Department of Transportation policies and required training.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Desired Qualifications
Valid CDL-A.
Delivery experience.

Position Summary: To perform all functions of Transportation and care of Poultry to and from farm locations to the highest of Herbruck’s quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Deliver Poultry to and from farms with professionalism.
Maintain high quality care for our Birds.
Ensure load is properly secured and loaded.
Maintain truck cleanliness and in good operating conditions.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Perform daily DOT inspection of equipment
Comply with FMCSA rules and regulations for DOT hours of service and compliance
Comply with Herbruck’s and DOT policies and required training
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 years of age
Valid CDL-A preferred.
