Editor – Strategic Partnerships

Fortune is seeking a smart and versatile editor/writer to join its Strategic Partnerships team. This position involves collaborating with the editorial team to develop new editorial franchises, assigning and editing sponsored editorial article series, and liaising with the Integrated Marketing team.

You will... 

• Brainstorm with the editorial team and the list team, which oversees our Fortune 500 and other rankings projects, to develop new concepts and franchises centered on topics that are of interest to our audience and that may be sponsored.
• Edit sponsored editorial series, playbooks, virtual event coverage, newsletters, podcast coverage, commentaries
• Write company page content
• Collaborate with the SEO, design, audience, PR, marketing teams, the Fortune live media team, the video team, and production to produce sponsored editorial content
• Liaise with the Integrated Marketing and Activations teams
• Uphold Fortune’s standards of journalistic rigor, accuracy, fairness, and quality

The right candidate…

• Has extensive experience editing business and finance news
• Has access to a wide range of talented freelance writers
• Has a willingness to work with Sales and liaise with sponsors
• Has experience publishing and producing in a CMS

Location: Our editorial team is based across time zones and international borders. This role can be based in the US or Europe, with a preference in NYC. If you’re based within commuting distance of one of our offices, there will be a minimum of 3 days/week in the office.

Salary Range: $80,000-$100,000. This range is a good-faith estimate and may ultimately vary based on a number of relevant factors.
