Responsibilities
  • Own and drive the evolution of a Kubernetes-native workload orchestration platform
  • Design and develop backend services in Go, and contribute to front-end features using TypeScript
  • Develop and maintain containerized microservices and APIs within a Kubernetes environment
  • Support deployment strategies via Helm and GitOps workflows (e.g., ArgoCD)
  • Integrate event-driven architectures leveraging tools like Kafka
  • Implement observability and monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana)
  • Collaborate across infrastructure, DevOps, and development teams to maintain CI/CD and system reliability
  • Maintain and enhance system documentation, operational runbooks, and internal engineering standards
Desired Qualifications
  • Familiarity with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Bamboo, Fisheye)
  • Experience with Agile development and CI/CD pipelines
  • Background in Linux/UNIX system administration
  • Knowledge of SIGINT dataflows and systems
  • Hands-on experience with NiFi, Kafka, MinIO, and MetalLB
  • Infrastructure-as-Code using cloud-init or Terraform
  • Cloud platforms, especially AWS (EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS)
  • Rancher suite (Harvester, Longhorn, KubeVirt)
  • Strong understanding of observability practices and tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
  • Commitment to maintaining clear documentation and development standards
