Reliability Engineer, Lead

As a leader in reliability engineering, we’re looking for you to solve complex challenges and help customers in projects of major significance that require the expert application of advanced engineering knowledge from several different fields to do root cause failure analysis to prevent future failures. Your customer will trust you to design and develop new and unique engineering methods and procedures, innovative test procedures, special analysis of failure techniques, and communicate these advanced concepts in detailed technical reports.

You Have:
8+ years of experience with systems engineering
Experience with reliability engineering supporting and sustainment of weapon systems
Experience with conducting a variety of reliability analyses, including root cause and corrective action, Weibull, life data analysis, fault tree analysis, identifying risks to business operations, developing corrective actions, and contributing to the continual improvement process
Experience with using Reliasoft, Python, and Microsoft Office
Experience with venues where high system reliability and availability, including nuclear and space
Knowledge of Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), including system, sub-system, functional component, and device level
Ability to develop clear working-level documents and management presentations and present them to the senior management team, review large amounts of data, identify root causes, and recommend solutions
Ability to travel up to 33% of the time CONUS
Secret clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,700.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
