Requirements
- Expertise on Cognos 10 business intelligence, including Framework Manager, Report Studio, Query Studio, Event Studio, Analysis Studio, Active Reports, Business Insight Dashboards, Cognos Transformer, Power Play Cubes10.
- Experience working on different layers, models, namespaces, folders, query subjects and packages from multiple data sources in Framework Manager.
- Expertise knowledge in developing stored procedures in SQL Server to fulfill complex reporting solutions.
- Experience integrating Google and Yahoo Maps with Cognos reports using JavaScript.
- Experience implementing dynamic sorting using JavaScript in Report Studio.
- Expert knowledge of Cognos Server Administration, installation and configuration of Cognos 10.2 in distributed systems.
- ETL development experience using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) 2008.
- Advanced extensible reporting skills using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) 2008.
- Good knowledge of Cognos Impromptu EP 7 and PowerPlay Transformer.
- Good knowledge of Crystal Reports and Visual FoxPro 9 reports.
- Good knowledge of JavaScript, AJAX and HTML/Cascading Style Sheets.
- Good knowledge of SQL, MySQL, and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Implemented complex reports in Intellicus Reporting and BI using MySQL complex queries and JavaScript to meet user requirements.
- Created business intelligence solutions including executive dashboards and business scorecards with Microsoft Excel.
- Performed ETL operations for BI reporting solutions using custom VBA and Excel web queries.
- Created ad-hoc queries from SQL Server databases for custom reporting needs.
Responsibilities
