Requirements
  • A strong academic background with achievement or expected achievement of a 2:1 or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related discipline, with graduation no earlier than Summer 2029.
  • Foundational coding skills in object-oriented programming languages such as Java, C#, or C++.
  • Passion for software engineering and technology demonstrated through personal projects, coursework, hackathons, open-source contributions, or other work completed outside the core curriculum.
  • A desire to learn, experiment with new tools and technologies, and continuously evolve as a software engineer.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to understand technical requirements and translate them into effective, maintainable solutions.
  • Clear and confident communication skills and willingness to collaborate in a close-knit, agile, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the design, development, and enhancement of enterprise-class software solutions supporting a global client base.
  • Gain hands-on exposure to the entire software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, system design, implementation, testing, deployment, and post-release support.
  • Work across multiple product areas or engineering lanes to develop an appreciation for different architectures, technologies, and product complexities.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, quality engineers, and other cross-functional partners to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Use cloud platforms, continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines, and Generative AI tools.
  • Operate within an Agile development environment using Test-Driven Development, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery.
  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Develop technical knowledge through the engineering community, internal learning resources, mentorship, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
Desired Qualifications
  • Prior exposure to software engineering through internships, placements, part-time roles, coding competitions, research projects, or publications.
